Minimum Wage is currently $11.80
The next increase occurs on 12/31/20, and will raise the minimum wage to $12.50/hr.
Ban on Salary History employment application question
Effective January 6th, 2020 Employers may not seek pay history. An employer may only confirm pay history if, at the time an offer of employment is made, applicants or current employees respond to the offer by providing pay history to support a wage or salary higher than that offered by the employer.
New W-4 Form from IRS
The IRS has released a re-designed W-4 form which all new employees who you will be first paying in 2020 must use. Similarly, any other employee who wishes to adjust their withholding must now use the redesigned form.
